Gulfman Half Ironman Triathlon

I had read some disturbing reviews about last year's race. Has anyone else heard this and talked to last year's participants? The reviews said there was no cups or water on the course, the results weren't posted until 3 days after the event, timing chips were broken and not working and no splits were taken, and there was no offical timing clock at the start or finish. This will be my first 1/2 IronMan and I would would like it to be a good one. Has anyone heard anything they can share?
