Subject: Myrtle Beach 1/2 Marathon and Century Bike Ride
I plan on doing the 1/2 on sat Feb 18 and the metric century on Sunday the 19th. Has anyone done these events before and can you offer any tips. It will be my first 1/2 marathon and also my first century. I have done some 60 mile cycling training rides, but have only run as far as 10 miles, so it will be a challenge.

I completed both of these events this past weekend,,,will do a race report later. My first 1/2 mary and first century ever and in consecutive days (yeah for me). I have to say they were both well organized, although the run needed a lot more porta potties along the route,,,women were waiting 5-6 in line at porta potties along the route (that has to be a time killer) and guys were whizzing in bushes along the route, other than that it was awesome....Will see yall at parris island
