Comments:

started out slow , wanted to keep hr below 1.45 keep it lower than 152 and keep pushing my pass up first mile was around 11 then 10.30 then 10.00 then i hit the bridge . not my favorite part. the gels and water keep me going every 1/2 hour i made sure to fuel even though i felt like i did not need it
the turn at mile 7 just proved to me that i trained for this thing and raised my heart rate to 165 with a pace of around 9 min. miles from that part i keep bouncing back from 1.70 hr to 1.68 still making sure i had enough in me to finish . mile 11 sort of caught up with me my right calf tighten up a bit. i just ran through it before i knew it i was on poydrus and knew then it was time to give it all . it felt good to have enough in my body to finish strong

Very Stream-of-Consciousness race report, John!   Seems like Mile 11 was a test for a lot of people!  You are fast!  Congrats on your first long run!  Many more to come!

Nice job and excellent pacing! Pacing can be so difficult but it really pays off. Did you get all your mile splits?

I am getting a vo2 max this week on the bike then run. i always feel like i have more at
the end of the race. hopefully this test will give me the numbers i should be at.
