What was it about your SO that you fell in love with? Was it deep and philosophical, or shallow and lustful?

In the interest of keeping harmony at home, I choose D) All of the above. Or how about, I fell in lust around the same time I fell in love, and lucky me, it was the same guy each time.

Wait, I change my answer to what she said.

courtney_leone - 2006-02-13 11:08 AM Shallow and lustful. I hated him at first....then I noticed he had really sexy arms. Then I knew I had to have him

If it's shallow and lustful, it's not love.  It's just the attraction that opens up the door so that love gets an opportunity to enter.

Having said that......his butt.

He was a geek too.  We, um, met in FORTRAN class in college.  I shared my source code with him.  But he had already "fingered" me, so apparently he was interested too.

This post is not dirty.  The UNIX people will get it.

I didn't like my husband when I first met him either. He was too quiet, too skinny and seemed very uniteresting. He was, though, very gentle, thoughtful and sweet. I was wrong about the uninteresting part. My mom always told me "still waters run deep" and it was certainly true for him. Plus he was really into the fitness lifestyle, so in the end we were a perfect match.

Which category does "she's as crazy as I am" fall into?

Hmmm...possibly both?

For me it was a blind date.  We spoke on the phone and hit it off.  When I picked her up fpr our first date I just knew.  Smart, beautiful and fun to talk to- can't beat it.

That pretty much sums it up....

We used to work together and would always flirt around at work.  Then one day I grew the Cajones to ask her out.  We went on a date, and after the first kiss I knew.  I know.... AWWWWWWWWWWW... shut it
