Comments: Started out averaging about 7 min 15 sec miles which I was wanting to bank some time as I was shooting for 1 hour and 45 minutes with a stretch goal of 1 hour and 43 minutes. About halfway I figured I had enough time banked and was starting to feel the affects of coming out that quickly. The crowd and volunteer support was awesome which kept you going. What would you do differently?: Probably train more thoroughly throughout the year, maybe not taper as much this past week as I felt like I lost some aerobically. Post race
Warm down: Grabbed some orange slices and took the water taxi back to the car. What limited your ability to perform faster: Weight gain recently of about 15 pounds, maybe I am just a sucky runner? Last updated: 2011-09-24 12:00 AM

Had wife drop me off at the entrance to the battleship. Walked up the .4 miles, ate some jelly beans, got in line for the porta-john, had some water.
Tried to do some strides for about a 1/4 of a mile to get my legs rolling over well.
