How to register online?

Veteran  784   |  Subject: How to register online?So I will TRY and register online for Arizona and was wondering... do you register by going to active.com or go to Ironman.com. Also I have an account with active should I log in before I try and register for it, does it help and make things faster.....Any suggestion will help....I saw how some people had trouble registering and some didnt get it in and not in the mood for that feeling.....thanks.

Also trying to ensure that I know the proper day and time to try for online registration....the web site says at noon the day after the race...I'm taking that to mean at noon on Monday, November 21. Noon AZ time, I assume... I'm taking the day off work just so I can sit my butt at the computer uninterrupted (OK, I'll probably sneak in a couple of workouts too), so I'd hate t screw up with the time zone changes and daylight savings...but it just ended or just started, not sure which, and we have it here in MI, but I guess they don't in AZ? |

Well..it will be on that monday the 21( which I as well took the day off to be firmly ready) and I have a blogg which I put a clock with Pheoniix Arizona time......so I wouldnt get confused....for me (im in NJ) 12 noon in arizona, it will be 2pm in NJ........I have 3 people also helping me register..... |

Registration asks a lot of questions like "what is your biggest personal achievement?" Say none, or just type a period or something. People didn't make IMFL today wasting time on these questions... |

Once you have the correct active.com page up, you can just keep hitting refresh on your browser. Once you get the page to start registering, you're fine. I think you have at least 10 minutes maybe 20 to complete filling everything for your registration. I don't know how fast IM AZ has sold out traditionally, but the ones that sold out the fastest in north america took about 15 minutes. |

Yes. This was me. My wife was helping me reg on her iphone as we could not be home. She kept writing stuff and I'd tell her to just put na. Missed by two minutes. |
