Just wanted to provide you the link to their new website. It is still growing, but looks to be a fun group if you want to be part of a club. If not, I am sure by the responses we are getting here on BT, we can form our on little group training rides!!! Look forward to it!

I don't know if anyone looked at their race schedule, but there is an indoor tri in a couple of weeks, the "Prairie Life Indoor Triathlon." That would be a nice first tri to get your/my feet wet. Pro 5761 Bartlett, TN | Subject: RE: Memphis Triathlon Club I recently joined the GI JESS WARRIORS FOR A CAUSE TEAM. They are a tri club in Memphis with a focus on cancer awareness. It is a great team to be involved with and also does alot of good for cancer patients and driving cancer awareness. |

Also check out the Memphis Hightailers' website for their weekly group rides. I highly recommend for a beginner RB's Cyclery's C ride on Saturday mornings. They have an option for as little as a 20 mile route. Almost always some triathletes on any group ride. |

I have been running 1/2's and will be starting Tri's this year. I have been spinning and swimming, but nothing formal. I would love group to train with!

Extreme Veteran 442 Memphis | Subject: RE: Memphis Triathlon Club I met the members that recommended me at a triathlon. Most people join a group ride but being winter that's a little difficult also. I know we are looking to do some group swims but I don't think there are any definite plans yet. The best advice I have is to ask the person who contacted you if there are any activities you could join to met some people. Probably a trail run or two are coming up with some of the girls. Post back here if you hit a wall and I'll see what I can do. |
