Subject: New Bike . . . FINALLY
Okay, I've been thinking, planning, and dreaming about this for about eight months now. Today I finally, finally, finally bought a new bike. I'm still a little shaky about how much cash I plunked down -- not used to big purchases -- but I'm pretty dang happy with my purchase, and very happy with the LBS. Now for some time in the saddle.

I'm not asking for names; I'm sure the bike will name itself somewhere out on the road. But thanks much, everyone, for giving me advice along the way . .

VERY NICE!!  I know what you mean about being shaky on that big of a purchase, but in the long run it's worth it.

Hey, are those carbon seat stays?  I have the same wheel set as you and they are great!

Give us an update after your first voyage.

Congrats-

Mike

Which shop did you get that from? I know that Westerville doesn't carry Felt?

Tri-Tech Multisport, nearish to Worthington. Ignore the garish website. I had a good experience with the owners; good fit session, good communication.

I've only been able to ride it around a bit during the test fit outside, and on the trainer at the shop. It's stunningly cold outside (9 degrees F), so no road rides yet.

I think there maybe a 7% chance that I'll name it "Crazy Delicious".

Let me see if I can link to the pix in a way that won't change the aspect ratio:

Besides the weather, you can't ride it without pedals.

I can't believe you got blue.

He's out trying to finish his 5 mile ride on his slow red bike.  He's been at it since yesterday.

Speedplay X-5's. You might not be able to see them in the pics, but they're there.

Oh, and by the way, they're blue.

I love the differences in how I feel and how I perceive speed on my tri bike!

You will feel faster.
