Any feelings about ear plugs? Maybe I have problems with water in my head due to the vast expanses of space in there.

I use the slicon plugs for races, but would like to use the rubber-mushroom looking plugs. I can't find any around Madison, WI.

thanks,
keith

I have no idea what a mushroom earplug is but I use these:

They are a little pricey (~$100/pair) but depending on how bad your ears are incredibly worth it.  They are custom made for you and definitely keep the water out.
