Event comments:

I was looking for a 5k to run in march. There were none nearby but I found this 5 miler. How could I resist a race that starts and ends at a brewery and has free beer at the finish.
The weather was perfect for early March in central WI, mid 30's and sunny. I really wanted to break 10 m/m and did. In fact the chip timing put me at 48:52 so I actually did the 5 miles with over a minute to spare

Great run, I am glad you made your goal pace.  So you can't hold out on us, what kind of beer did you have??; I am a big lover of microbrews.

I'd drive a long ways to race at a brewery! How was the beer? Sounds like you had a nice run...

The beer served was the Piont Bock Beer.  THe race coencides with its seasonal lauch.  I must admit the beer right over the finsh line was one of the best I've had.
