Sounds like it would be a great thing to do but that is the same weekend as the Cactus Challenge in Austin and the is on my schedule of things to do.  Why does everything happen on the same weekend!

Hope you enjoy it and learn lots of helpful hints.

Freeswimmingfish - 2006-03-13 10:30 PM I am signed up for the Bike and run sessions!!!

about this...since my shoulder is outta whack, i was still planning on going even though i can't participate. i thought i could still get some good info. is this a good idea or a waste of time??

Hi Courtney,

First, how are you doing? How is the shoulder? I hope you are doing good. Let yourself heal before doing anything. I think it is still early enough to have a good season.

OK, I just read in runner/triathlete mag about this event. It said to be prepared to work, it will be a workshop. there will be setup and position evaluations and up to a 50 mile ride, a "social" run and a "heart rate" run with drills, and stroke and styles evaluation and drills in the pool.

With that said, if I were you, I would still go. I would not miss this. A taining session with Dave Scott!!! You will still get a lot of great info. You probably should not do the work but be there to watch and learn. That is why I am going, to learn.

If you bring your bike, I will help you to unload it and reload it in/on your car.

You could also be the official BT photographer! I could bring my camera.

There will be lunch after the ride, I would not count on twinkies though....

See ya soon.....

I need all the help I can get TOO!

I signed up for the bike ride. And, will do either the 20 or 30 mile ride. I'm actually considering a 30 mile bike soon w/some HRTC'ers. (I'm finding that there can be alot of simultaneous events which causes me much dilemna.)

I want to meet the BTers there.

Courtney: I may go to the other events w/you and not participate (esp. on the run ) I want to learn but I didn't want to participate in all events.
