What do you wear under your bike helmet?  It seems that most everything would be somewhat bulky or uncomfortable.

Bike specific headband from Pricepoint. Or a balaclava when it's very cold.

I'll wear a running toboggan (by Headsweats or Brooks).  In a race a couple weeks ago where it was windy and misting, I also wore a turtle fur neck gaiter that is mostly used by skiers, i think.  It was a great call for miserable morning weather, and kept my face from getting too chapped.

The toboggan really isn't bad under the helmet.

I have a thin skullcap from headsweats.  And for colder weather I have a balaclava, that is also thin enough.

If it's below 5C-ish then an earwamer (like a headband, but with flaps that cover your ears). The few times a year that it is very cold, less than 0C, I wear a thin touque that also has flaps that cover your ears.

I rode sunday with a head cap thing I got at performance. I believe at a certain point in the ride the elastic in it was crushing my skull, but I eventually rode through that. I have bought from Sierra Trading Post a fleece balaclava. ~$10 I have enjoyed it on cool rides both mountain biking and commuting. I have not used it road biking but I think it would be fine.

Duct Tape! - that stuff is good for EVERYTHING!

And I don't understand why people put delicious greek pastries on their ears.

And how long do you microwave the baklava before you put it on your ears?
