This is my favorite non half or full iron distance race. It's more challenging than any other Olympic distance I've ever done because of the huge hills and fierce heat. Plus the race has divided the clydedale division into 40 and over (clyd. masters) and clyd. under 40( clyd. open) so last year with a slow time I took 3rd! Getting on the podium is always a fun way to end a race!

I thought about doing that race but I think I'll go to Austin the next weekend and do that Capital Triathlon I keep hearing about. I'm not sure if doing the Buffman and Squeaky Oly would be the best tune up for a near "A" race the next week.

Good luck though.....

I posted this in the BSLT thread too, but thought might be seen better here....

I'm considering doing this race as a prep for BSLT but I have Cap Tex the week after so would just treat it as a long training day. Is anyone from the DFW area interested in carpooling and sharing hotel room?
