When, where, do you have a website? Why haven't I been told about this one...?

It's April 2nd in Chalmette. 2/10/2  starts at 8.15 am . I'm just going to wake up early and make the drive out there.

real lax duathlon - i'm registering on race day for $20

Ken and John told me about this one. I am pretty sure that John is going to do this, and Ken even teased me and said he might make the drive over to do it.

I think T-Gator 1 is the same day.  I plan to do that one but a Duathlon would be a good back up plan for me

This is probably the oldest Duathlon in the State. I think it's been going on for at least 15 years. They usually hold it every April and every September. I have done it 4 times and it has always been one of my favorites. The competition level is very high and it's usually between 150 and 200 people. I have attached the results from the April 2005 race.

Looks like they are changing the course back to the old course, which I never did. I hear it was faster because the current course required 4 bridge crossings. The atmosphere of this race was always great. A certain female acquantance of mine stopped racing athena rather than be subject to the side of the road bathroom scale experience this race provides. The race announcer and DJ have never heard of political correctness. If that bothers you don't go, seriously. These folks really know how to put on a fun race.

Still undecided on whether we will go over.
