Awwww!  He looks like my dog (who now lives with my ex   )  Beamer (yes...we were a little piped up on Jim Beam when we named him) was part Rottweiller and part Hound.  He was the sweetest thing!  I'll be looking forward to pictures of Hugo growing up!  He looks like he will be a great running partner!

awwwwwww.....

the sleepless nights will all be worth it when he's keeping your feet warm at night.

And Belly reminds me of my beloved Fuzzy (RIP).

all of my dogs have been humane society specials, and all have been wonderful. I miss them so much since i'm in Ireland. I know Tippy is going to pee herself when I come home! 9 yrs old and she still yelps like a pup when I come in the door.

I ain't much of a dog person, cats are more my bag, but I would delight in tossin' a beatin' to anybody who would do that kind of thing...

More importantly, props to you for doing the right thing and keeping the world in balance.

What an awesome story. I'd have 2 more dogs if I could (my boss has 7 - his wife works for the Houston SPCA and she fosters a lot of dogs.)... Kudos to doing the right thing!

my ex GF worked in an animal hosptal that worked with the shelter, every 6 months she wanted to recue a cat. my best cat ever "kenny" was so loving and wonderful. after our breakup she kept our two cats. i love resuced animals, they are so great. they know what its like to have nothing, when they get love then just die for it.....
