Pro 6582 Melbourne FL | Subject: Things that just tick you off... Well it's Spring Break, so yesterday some bored kids decided to start a fire in a county park that burned 100 acres. There were numerous MTB & running trails in the woods that were charred. I OW swim in one of the pond/lakes in the park, couldn't today. Here the story and some pix: http://tinyurl.com/oh6jz |

When I finally buy, I'm not buying within eye sight of the El I agree, especially if it's just a crew marking their turf, I'm definitely not a fan. It can really change the atmosphere of a neighboorhood quickly. I actually had a friend whose father installed a wall in their backyard to keep him from sneaking out in the nights to paint all over Seattle. It was fun to go and check out the new murals that he would do. |

Pro 4189 Pittsburgh, my heart is in Glasgow | Subject: RE: Things that just tick you off... PEOPLE STEALING MY FREAKING FOOD!!! OK, I understand that its communal living and what have you, but you DONT eat someone else's food! My flatmates make fun of me because I label my food in an attempt to not get it confused with theirs (germs and what have you) butI don't get to go home every weekend to do my laundry and have my parents buy me food...no, I have to pay for it MYSELF. So when someone uses an entire stick of my butter and the puts the EMPTY WRAPPER in my cupboard, I'm a little pissed off. When someone uses the last 2 eggs I had saved for an omlette because they "thought they were someone elses"...no! That's not OK. You ASK first. Sometimes I'll say yes, sometimes I'll say no. But I'll never ever go into someone's cupboard and take food. You just don't do it. BEING INCONSIDERATE OF OTHERS! Being drunk is not an excuse to keep the entire dorm awake. Some of us actually have to go to class (novel concept, huh?) and need to be awake before 3:30 in the afternoon (not kidding). It is really inconsiderate to blast your music in the common room (right next to my friend's bedroom), and then let your drunken friends TRASH the place, only for those of us getting up at a reasonable hour to have to clean before we leave so that we don't get fined. Seriously, everyone said, "oh the fine isn't so bad." WHAT?! Maybe because your PARENTS are paying it, but that 25 quid is 50 US dollars to me, for something that I didn't fecking do! And I am NOT washing the sink full of dishes that is out there. I will leave them there the entire spring break (starting friday), but I will not clean them. Full. Stop. |

(this could be a new confessions thread) I root for the Georgia swim teams. They always have a tons of swimmers from SwimAtlanta, my old club team, so for some reason ot doesn't seem "wrong."> |

Runner | Subject: RE: Things that just tick you off... Since we're venting..... People who drive luxury SUV's, that insist on the idea that they own the road. I know you saw my car, lady! I was in front of you! Why is it oh so important that you be in my lane? And why does it have to be right this second? Apparently, some people feel that driving a Mercedes M-Class gives them the ability to mutate the laws of physics! Also, the road crews in PA. Is it REALLY that difficult to get out there and patch the potholes? The one last night nearly took my wheel off. And this isn't some back country road. This is a major road (Lancaster Ave outside Philly), through a nicer area. Jesus jumpin lind-dancin Christmas! Sorry, long morning...... |

Just in general. - People who think they are too good for their turn signals. - The fact that the only song on the radio this morning as I was driving in -- like, literally, the ONLY song -- was "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" It's been a little bit of a morning, y'all. |

Ooo...that's like that joke, where the two guys are riding the elevator, one farts, and when they get to the floor, people get on, and right before the doors close, the guy steps out, turns around, and says, "You coarse, common bastard." LMAO!!! I amuse myself. Which is marginally better than not amusing anyone at all. |
