OK BTers!  The weather looks absolutely awesome for Sunday.  After last year's windy freeze-fest, I can definitely handle the forecast weather conditions.

I'll be wearing my "I train with my friends at Beginner Triathlete.Com and have Bib #7463.  I would love to meet everyone!

We are going to have a total blast on Sunday!!!!!

Yes looks much better then last year, believe it or not last year I took off my track suit pants (throw away) folded them nicely and laid them by a lamp post right by the start, after the race I was freezing and ran to the lamp post and they were still there hehe!!!!

My BIB number is 7196 - green wave too. Don't know what I will be wearing but maybe we should see about meeting some place. Any ideas? Maybe one of the tents? I am driving in and parking at work so if anybody needs a lift along Route 1 from Alexandria let me know.

Look forward to meeting.

Looking forward to it! - I'll have my BT t-shirt on - Since this is my first time running, I got the honor of the purple start.  Bib 17,662.  Will need to work my way up from the back.  Going to try for under 90' - see what happens.  I'm coming in from Annapolis, actually thinking about snagging a hotel to save myself the morning drive.

DC is busy at the moment due to Cherry Blossom, our hotel is sold out. Try Crystal city maybe. I scoped the place out this morning while running - there are a couple of tents but no banners yet, there are also ball park fields or nets (excuse the ingorance) they are numbered we could meet at one of those.

Don't forget to move your clocks forward tonight(Honestly, I wonder how many people that is going to screw up.)

I'm #17768 - aka, the slow group - as my brother pointed out - "Think of how many people you'll get to pass!"

Hope everyone has a great race tomorrow!

If any of you can bring a cellphone, my number is 703-992-3484.  Give me a call, and we can vector in to a common meeting point.  I'm bringing a camera, so maybe we can take some pics too!

BodyCheck - thanks for the reminder on Daylight Savings Time!  That is awesome too, because now there is extended training time in the evenings.  I just love this time of the year.  And just in time too, because my training volume is starting to go up.

If we can't hook up, here's to a great race experience tomorrow!!!!

Hey, quick question for anyone that's run this before, since I can't find any mention of it on the official site - how far apart are the water stations?  Is it the "standard" 2 miles?

Cindy - there is stuff available before the start of the race, then every 2.5 miles, and of course, at the finish.

Hope to see you there - ignore Stake's warning - who you gonna trust?  A former Marine, or an Active Duty Search and Rescue Professional?  Oh, I forgot ... you like Marines.

Good to know (I just seem to do a little better mentally if I know where they are ahead of time)

I don't know, I've got a friend in the CG and he's always up to no good, so Stake may be on to something...

Can't wait for the race! Going to be a beautiful day! I will not have a cell phone on me, but will be in the green corral. If anyone decides on a meeting place, please post.

Bill

If we manage to find each other at all it'll be a major miracle.  I just left packet pickup, and it was a zoo!

I went earlier this morning....and it was a zoo! What a mob. I was disappointed at such a small expo for such a large race.

I can definitely relate.  The expo for the Great Aloha Run in Hawaii took up an ENTIRE convention center.  It was awesome.  But, I'm just looking forward to getting out there and logging a 10 mile race.

What a great day for the race! Bit chilly at the start but then perfect. Wasn't expecting to but I broke my PR for the 10M here today by 3 min and 29 secs, I am completely stoked! Finished in 1:12:05 - loved it.

Hope you all had a good run, I kept my eyes peeled but did not see any BegTri shirts and hence peeps
