Yes, I'm in for dinner and my husband (Steve) will be joining us too if that's ok!

We will have a car and would be more than happy to take anyone else who needs a ride.  We are staying at the Lodge..

Ty...are you in?  I would love to buy you dinner for all of the work you have done!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Marcy

Jeff and I went to a nice Italian place in Orlando last night that he has been going to for many years. It's about 15 minutes away from Disney and is a nice family-run restaurant.

Cariera's Cucina
7600 Dr. Phillips Blvd - Orlando, Florida 32819

So...let's get a head count and I will work on the reservation. Let me know if you do not have a car and want a ride to and fro.
Jorge (3-5 peeps)
Marma and family (4)
Lynne and mom or no mom? (1-2)
Me and Jeff (2)
Sherri...you by yourself or with family?
Dodgersmom (1, I think)
Josh Berman???
Peter King...come on, you know you wanna!
slowone...you too!

Can't wait to meet you/see you all again!

Jessica

OK, OK...just got back from overseas & still recovering, thought I might have to bag this race altogether since I didn't get in much training over the 10 days, but I'm still in, so....

I really do want to join y'all but feel I may be one of these saying I'll be there & then something comes up but...as it stands at the moment, count me in for at least 2...

I'm in for a late lunch after registration/bike...Or meeting up w/ people at registration. Be nice to get a picture of the group

However, Dinner might be out of the picture. I want to meet everyone, but I'm extremely superstitous AND particular about eating out the evening before a big race. No italian restaurants the day before any IM races for me... I usually go no solid food 12hours before the race. If your going off property, I'll probably have to pass. If you are eating at Disney, I could probably meet up for a non-adult beverage...

yeah...I suck

I have made a reservation based on numbers I have now but will let them know the final number later in the week, so PLEASE, feel free to join in on the RSVP list even if it is the day before. We want as many BTers as we can get, and I understand that it is hard to nail down plans when you are juggling your needs with family, etc.

When I organized the St. Anthony's dinner we had people rsvp-ing all week leading up to the race and it all worked out great. Please PM me if you have any questions or just ask here and I will do my best to answer them. I'll give out my cell number next week too, so yall can call me if you get lost.

Jess- I'll actually have Mom, Grandma, and sister for this one. I know I shouldn't be excited about having you and Sherri as jockstraps since I'm bringing 3 but our annual passes for WDW expire end of May so...

My sister has a car that we could probably fit one more person in to take them offsite. We are staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge so anyone that is a single and needs a ride please let me know.

Two quick thoughts -

I'm in for splitting Ty's dinner as well - his site rocks.

Does anyone have any extra BT tattoos for the weekend? I placed my order today, but I'm not sure if'll they'll make it here in time.

I'd Paint BT on my forehead, but I'm afraid it would run given the heat

I'm going to enjoy the taper by taking a nice brisk swim today in a 58-degree lake!!!!

Sending my bike was like putting my kid on a plane alone. I actually had a dream last night that it got lost en route and I woke up in a sweat.

I'm right there with you Mike.  Using Tribike transport and the shop assures me that they have never lost a bike.  Somehow, that does not make me feel better.  I am so worried about getting there and my E9 is nowhere to be found.

I'd be more worried about the $8/hr luggage checkers than tribiketransport. Do you think their going to put it back in the case like when you or the LBS packed it???? Doubt it...

At least my bike is traveling WITH other bikes ON land AND does not require assembly. I can't tell you how many of my friends have had their bikes damaged, scratched, and beat up on the plane since 9-11. It was a no brainer for me.

$240 w/ a bag assemble or

$140 round trip + ?? assembly + Hauling it where it needs to be assemble by a pro + Hassle...

See you in FL!

I'm using InsideOut Sports full service. We're travelling with our kids and then staying in Orlando for a week to do the whole Disney thing. I wanted to make the bike as much of a non-issue as possible.

Just got confirmation that it's been delivered.
