The only good thing about golf courses, IMHO, is that at least they preserve some open space in a time when very few new public parks are being developed.

Green space, yes.  Biodiversity normally associated with greenspace, no.

I like what Bear said.  To paraphrase, I'd rather watch paint dry than watch golf.  If it's nice that day, I'll be out trying to ride lots.

They should run the Georgia High School Cross Country championships on the Masters course.
