Comments: Could breath and swim was really not good. ended up doing breast stroke cause couldnt breath, dont know why maybe have the flu, nerves. wether was cold What would you do differently?: need to swim more in Highfeild pool. Learn to deal with stress better ![]() Transition 1
Comments: time is in bike time. because of bad swim was put off on transistion so left off shorts by mistake What would you do differently?: stop and think ![]() Bike
Comments: need to work on corners and hills. did 35klms on most but 20klm up hill need to work more What would you do differently?: train more on corners and hills ![]() Transition 2
Comments: didnt ride with feet on top of shoes as shoes are new and didnt want to add to the stress. Have promised to master these skills by next season ![]() Run
Comments: legs like bricks for first 2klms then they warmed up. managed to pick up speed on final hill. Wanted to walk the whole way but got stuborn and didnt. Run was really hard What would you do differently?: put own drink on stump. train more on brick training. make strides longer. enjoy it more ![]() Post race
Warm down: walk for about 2klm until breath back then stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of sleep night before, the feeling of the flu, nerves, old bike, over training, lack of confidence and lack of fittness. (basically everthing) Last updated: 2006-04-10 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5.00 headed out to course at 6.00. Got there too early was waiting around for some time so became nervious as race didnt start until 7.30
