everyone should bonk so they know what their body feels like at the onset of bonking (it's different for most everybody).

then you can anticipate a bonk and prevent it.  I was on the onset of bonking (VERY VERY early stages) at IMAZ but knew my body well enough to get some electrolytes in and continue ingesting carbs even though I completely lost my appetite and I didn't.

2 words It Sucks

i ran cross country for four miles at a race pace, then to baseball practice( not even time to change), then to strenght and conditioning workout. oh how much fun

I've never bonked for real, but I've had dreams about it.  In my dreams it feels like my legs just turn to jelly and no matter how hard I try, I just can't run any faster.

Everytime I 'bonk', it is due to not having any breakfast/sufficient food before my run/cycle. I find it hard to eat anything before 10am. I have to practically force feed myself. The last time I bonk (which is abt 3 weeks ago) after a run, it took me the whole day to recover. No matter what I eat or how much I rested, I feel exhausted for the rest of the day. It's an aweful feeling.
