Training -- Usually a regular speedo with a drag suit.  Sometimes just the speedo. In training, I find I can't "feel" the water as well in jammers.

I will practice in my tri-suit usually for 1 or 2 workouts before the race to get the feel.  I have a 1 piece Team Javelin tri suit that is wonderful for racing.  Dries quickly and is quite comfortable.

Thanks to you Tri-it. If you wear them snug, they are very hydrodynamic in the pool.

Square leg speedos when training. Jammers just feel too long, which is why I bought a pair of 4" inseam tri-shorts as well. I'll wear them in the pool a time or two before my first race in 5 weeks. Is the polar fleece pad annoying while swimming?
