I'd like to join in too please, this'll be my first challenge and I'm hoping it'll push myself to get my ar$e in gear, especially on the bike because I'm the queen on excuses for not going (although my fab new bike come tomorrow and I'm sure that'll make me more keen to go out - you can't beat new toys!)

Anyway, I'm going for:

Swim: 18,000
Bike: 90 miles
Run: 40 miles

Hey all,

Looks like we are going to have a nice crew for May MS challenge.  I'm swamped at work right now and am working on adding each of you to the SS.  Keep plugging away and I'll have it out by Monday evening.

Is it too late? If not,

Swim 520 minutes
Bike 780 minutes
run 550 minutes

Two out of three are a stretch. The third I need to stay somewhat close to the target just to have time to do the other two.

Here are my goals- sorry I'm so late. I just did my first marathon last Sunday, so I needed to see how things went this week before submitting my goals
Swim- 30,000 yards
Bike- 1000 minutes (16 hrs, 40 min)
Run (Walk?)- 400 minutes - (marathon recovery means I'll be lucky to make this goal)

Lets see I think I am WAY behind.

Ran - 2 miles - 22 to go 8.3% done
Biked 17.4 Miles - 142.6 to go 10.9% done
Swam 950 yards - 9350 to go, 9.2% done.

Man I had better get a move on it.

Run: 16.97 km 20% done

Today is the 8th so not including today we should be 22.5% done. I know I missed one short run last week (kids soccer) but hope to squeeze it into my schedule this week.

Hey All,

I pulled the stat's now instead of later as I'll be buried in work today and would put it off!

Ok, First of all the SS is attached, overall we are all at 21.6% for 22.6% of the month, good job to all.  Please double check everything and let me know (PM) if there is anything wrong with any goals and inputs for wk 1, thanks.

* 2nd, This is important for those using Metric Goals (km, meters).  Please change your setting to have your weekly totals to be as such as it is a PITA for me to total up the daily inputs.  Go to your 'Control Panel', then on the righthand side click on "Edit Your Training Settings".  There you can change your settings to be km or meters.

3rd, there are 3 people without any public goals posted.

Happy training

Don

This is my first month setting goals, so I wanted to go a little on the conservative side because I never know what conflicts are going to come up, but I might have gone too conservative! After Week 1 I have already completed 56.3% of swim 41.1% of bike and 29.3% of run. I have been having some knee problems and have to scale my running back for a while until I can get to see the doc, but the other two goals I should be able to easily finish!

Bike:  22 Mi = 24%
Run: 13.5 Mi = 54%
Swim:  3700 Yd = 35%

It's a little bit unbalanced, because I had Bloomsday(12K) yesterday, and then walked another four miles afterward.  That's okay, cause I didn't do anything today.
