Pre-race routine:

Standard pre-race smoothie, but 2 hours is a little close to the start. I was a little sloshy the first couple of miles. Sipped coffee on drive to race start.
Event warmup:

It was chilly and windy at the start, so I did a light jog for about 5 minutes. Apple Cinnamon Hammer gel and water 15 minutes prior to start.

Comments:

There were no age groups for this race, but I was 13 out of 37 for females. Really enjoyable fast race course along the coast.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. I probably started a little faster than I should have, but I wanted to take advantage of the downhill to give me a boost.
