I have to say I was extremely happy with how smooth the server was, not a single timeout during the registration process.

Now it's starting to sink-in

That sucks.  I got in, which is great.  Then my wife said to go ahead and sign her up.  As of 1:12 it was full.  WTF?  12 minutes!?

The event sold out in about 30 minutes last year.

With Vineman, which sold out in 5 days last year, selling out in 3 hours, I expected this to go super fast.

I'm kind of pissed though, I mean I had already filled out her entire registration and credit card info and then it said it was full.  If they're going to let me onto the payment page it ought to be just like those bastards Ticketmaster, who lock in your spot then give you 3 minutes to complete the page.

Dang! Now I'm even more excited I got in. It's almost 40 minutes later and I'm still shaking from the nerves/excitement.

Hi there! I live and train near Elkhorn and work in downtown Omaha. We should get together! My husband and I are both doing IMAZ.

Really though??? A last second decision? I knew that florida sold out in 15 minutes this year and it took about two hours last year.  I had everyone on the computer at 1 and had them just put letters in all of the boxes that were required just to make sure they made it in.

ohh and everyone else that didn't get in.....It's only another $650 to get rid of that disappointment...

Really you would pay all that extra travel money to cozumel?  Why not just get the foundation slot for an extra $650?  If my wife would committ to an ironman i'd pay that if she didn't get in.  No question.

It was last second in that she had thought about it seriously for the previous week, we watched the race yesterday (via Ironmanlive.com) and she was pretty sure she wanted to do it, then once I signed up decided she wanted in too.
