Subject: 12.14.11 Wednesday Workouts

Good morning!  Happy Hump Day...half way to Friday!

4:15am:  warm up
4:30am:  5.5 mile run
5:30am:  2nd half of Insanity Upper Body Strength Training...got 'er done!

Looking forward to a chill afternoon...no holiday events/parties/gatherings...just peace.  Aaaaah!

5:30 AM 30 minute run in the streetlightless dark.

5:30 PM: 50 min. of Jorge Workout Prep 1 #1--first of season--my bike must be improving as it actually felt easy; I know--I need to re-do the power tests! Little bit of lifting and core stuff afterwards.

Son's XMAS concert this afternoon, followed by family time at the pool.  Wife and I will share lap time, plan on getting 1000M in.  Goal is to do at least 5 x 100M intervals.  Have been focusing on mainly 50M intervals up till now.

P90X2 Total Body and X2 Ab Ripper.  Two hour ride OUTSIDE starting at 2pm.  It's going to be 66 and perfect sun today.  Pinch me!

This is one of mine and my hubby's favorite strength workouts of all!  I use this to maintain during tri season! (I do 1 day a week of this and 1 day a week of P90X core synergistics.)

After my 4 mile run followed by 600 yds in the pool last night, I am exhausted.

 

I think that I will take rest day today, my legs are like jello.

Greetings!  Doctor said I don't have PF and that I injured my right foot arch due to overuse.  Did some short runs testing for pain and there was none yay!  Gonna try a 3-5 mile run tonight after work.  =)

I love it too...I get it in twice a week.  Perfect mix of weights and some Insanity Cardio!

Finally after being sick for the last 3 days i finally got to get back on the trainers.   I  did a 12 mi ride at a 21mph pace.  Felt great, so as I was getting off the bike and I looked over at the treadmill and it was calling my name.  So it was on!!  I was going to run a 5k and about 1.3 mile into the run my right calf cramped up. Bumps me out!!  So I had to walk the cramp out.  Other than that,  It feels great to be back!!!

1.5 hours of speed drills with the swim team last night. I have no idea how many laps. Pretty sure quite a few. I'm STILL tired from them.

three mile run tonight after monday rest day and missing yesterday due to a christmas party.  plan to make the most of the good weather with a long run tomorrow.

I had a good, but short, swim session mid morning, and got in a 30 minute treadmill run at work in the afternoon.

I guess it's time for me to stop goofing off and start training more seriously.
