Pre-race routine:

2 and a half hour drive to Jacksonville
Event warmup:

Did some stretching in the porta pottie line

Comments:

Started out a little too fast but found my stride. Starting feeling bubble guts at mile 14, at mile 16 had to take a stop in the porta pottie that lasted 6 minutes because of GI distress! I was in a panic when I got out because I was trying to go sub 4. The wheels fell off at mile 20 and I had to walk each aid station at that point. At mile 24 I realized I still had a chance at sub 4 so I gritted my teeth and carried myself to the finish line with everything I had in me at that point. I crossed the finish line and I was so trilled to realize that I ran a sub 4 hour marathon
What would you do differently?:

Work on nutrition to prevent GI distress
Post race
Warm down:

Waited for my husband it finish, it was his first marathon, he finished 35 minutes after me

What limited your ability to perform faster:

GI distress

Thanks Lisa! I thought sub 4 was so far away, I really surprised myself! Taking 2012 off from ironman and marathons, focusing on short distance races.
