I've been looking to get a Tri bike and of course everybody recommends the best thing is to get a good fit.  I was curious if anybody had any recommendations for biking fittings in the Rochester area.

Without a doubt the place to go for this is Geneva Bike Center in Geneva NY.  About a 45 minute drive from Rochester, depending on where you are in Rochester.  Jim, the owner does a great job and is very experienced.  Craig has been there a while is also good.

I bought my first bike from Jim and can echo what Ken said. He is a former pro and knows his stuff. If you don't want to drive, the guys at the Park Ave shop in Henrietta have also been really cool. I have gotten the BUshwood Country Club bike snob attitude from The Bike Zone and Towners. People I work with love Full Moon Vista but say it is way expen$ive........

I just realized I mispoke on this.  Jim is the owner, but the other fitters name is actually Chad.  Sorry about that.

Thanks for the advice everybody,  just got back from GBC and working with Chad for a couple hours to get my new bike and fit just right.  Definitely was a great experience,  Good thing I brought the wife or else I would have tried to purchase half the store.  Thanks again

It wouldn't be difficult in that store to go over budget, lots of neat toys!  Enjoy the new bike!
