My wife ordered it online and gave it to me for X-mas this year. Watched it twice already. Excellent doc and definitely inspiring. I've heard Anton say in an interview that he is happy with how the film turned out.

You can get it now.  I loved it.  Just so happens, I was running WS in 2010 when they were filming this.  Somehow I didn't make the final cut, though ;-)  The fact that I was many many hours behind those guys might have something to do with it.

I saw this movie a few weeks back in Virginia. A local outdoor store did a showing of the movie. They had reps from Montrail there, so I'm guessing that's why they were showing it. I really enjoyed the show...

I agree with everyone else -- really well done, great documentary. Definitely the best ultra documentary I've ever seen, with the possible exception of Running on the Sun (which is tough to get because I think it's out of print, but someone uploaded the whole movie in 9 parts to YouTube if you've never seen it yet).

anyone in the LA area (specifically, the west side) -- they're screening it at the Santa Monica Public Library (main branch) at 4:30pm Sat Feb 4th.  free.  Smile

I agree with others here. It is a really well done documentary. It focuses on the four key players rather than on the race as a whole, which the previous WS video, A Race for the Soul did, but that is okay. The profiles of the four runners are interesting and nicely done.

You can buy these directly now from Journey Films http://www.ws100film.com/  It is totally worth the $24.99. It has gotten me through many long treadmill runs this winter. I hope that it sells well so that more movies like this will be forthcoming.
