Pre-race routine:

Maria and I drove down to Charlotte and stayed at a hotel not too far from the race site. James came down from NC State to run the mud with us. I was looking forward to the race and promised myself I was going to have fun with it, and not try to set a world speed record.
Event warmup:

We arrived at the race site. The parking area was a huge field right on the race site. This was better than last year when we had to walk a mile from the parking area to the race site. We picked up our packets and pinned on our numbers. Not much to do for a 3 mile run.
Post race
Event comments:

same as the last warrior dash I did.I didnt race it because James was doing it with us. I slowed down to his pace and had fun with it. After the race I had a turkey leg and a beer (or two)
