Last year, I brought home my first tri bike:

He and I have gotten along quite well and for our anniversary I have some surprise year-end closeouts for him ... SRAM Force components and, potentially, some hot new wheels. I hope he repays me by doing some of the pedaling work for a change.

why did you go with the adamo?

I started doing a lot of centuries last year and the comfort of the saddle became very important.  Not everyone likes Adamo but it works for me.

I use the Adamo as well.  When I started putting more miles on the bike, I suffered from numbness.  So I tried out a few different saddles including the Cobb.  The Adamo was hands down my favorite.  It did take a couple of weeks to get used to the extra pressure on the sit bones.  After that it was great.   No numbness and I can ride for hours comfortably on it.

Yeah, my bike looks a lot faster when I'm not riding it.

The wheels are rentals.

Well I just I have a road bike--Jamis Ventura race. It is Aqua and white and no idea beyond that. I have aero bars I can put on it but I think they make it too heavy so I don't use them all that much.

I like to run (Love), bike and swim but not so much all together. I mostly run and train for marathons most of the year. In the summer I dial the mileage back and bike and swim more and usually manage a tri and a century ride.  I like having a road bike since it is pretty hilly around here. I just pick hillier tris so I don't feel at such a disadvantage. I also don't have a wet suit so I pick tris that it is usually too warm for a wet suit.
