and a few friends. I just started using Twitter. It's very useful for following events, like the Olympic trials last weekend. I also use it for business pretty heavily through Linked-In.

We are in the process of redesigning our company website and are going to incorporate a Twitter feed as I am terrible about updating the company news if I have to go in and change web pages.

I only look at twitter on my iPhone when I'm bored, unless I'm following the stream from an active event. It was great for the Olympic marathon trials.

@BrianRunsPhilly but I don't tweet much unless it's work related. Not sure how many of you care about pharmaceutical research.

ah, you know there's a load of them, just join and follow a bunch, see if what they have to tweet about interests you, if not stop following them :-)

Twitter is black and white.  Either you love it and get it or you hate it and don't understand the big deal (or some combination of those two).  I use it for breaking news and to communicate with a certain group of people that I would normally not communicate with.

Start following a few people and then you'll see who they follow and it branches from there.

I follow folks from here, cyclists, triathletes....

Sometimes I feel bad reading some of the things Evil Cycling posts, but sometimes they are funny as all get out.  Funny enough for me to buy a jersey from them that says "Hail Satan" and "F Off" on the back.  I only wear it on Sundays though.

Amanda Beard randomly followed me one day, and I've been smiling every since.

Same thing, although I can bet she gets less benefit from my tweets than I from hers!!
