Event comments:

Did pretty good for second Oly ever. Moved up quite a bit from LA Tri in 9/05 on a course at least 50% harder.

Very pleased, and motivated!

That is a great time for you first vist to Wildflower.  It has taken me three tries to get the training right and nutrition to break the 3 hour mark.

Gotta love and hate lynch hill don't you, hate it on the bike start, love it on the run finish.

Great job, what other races are you working on this year?

oooh - you're 5 min closer than i am to the magic 3:00 finish!

Ridiculously hilly and hot. - so true about the run.

Way to improve over your LA tri last fall - that must feel awesome!

Thanks. I just revisited the race section here today for the first time since entering Wildflower and saw your comments. Did the O.C. Duathlon Saturday, which was also fun. It was supposed to be a tri, but they had problems with lake permits. Still fun though. Pretty, rolling hilly ride through Santiago Canyon, with one pretty long climb at around mile 15. That second 5k was a killer though, and hot.

For me Vineman Half Ironman is next, July 30th then L.A Oly on September 10th.
