Happy Hump Day BT!

4:15am:  Easy 4 mile run followed by some core work and a whole lotta stretching....aaaah!  My piriformis thanks me.

Partial repeat of the Nirvana ride from yesterday. Rode about 20 km up to the Chinese border this AM but not as interesting; sweet-talked my guide into riding 40 km of the route back to where we started (Muang Sing to Luang Namtha in northern Laos). We cheated by taking a van up the highest hill (for his sake ) and rode the rest of the way back fairly hard; "race" the last 3 km into town. Kayaking tomorrow to give legs as rest and get some upper body in. Laos--the new tri-training hotspot!

2200 yards in the pool this morning while everyone else was sleeping.  Then an easy 4 or 5 mile run this afternoon, probably on the treadmill though since the roads are covered in fresh white stuff.

Glad you're having a blast! Never been to the Lao land but everyone who has raves about it.

Slotted in for an hour trainer's ride with some intervals, but I seem unable to peel myself out of bed after coming back to Bali after five very difficult stressful weeks dealing with my old sick parents and their crazy household and staff in Jakarta. Have been sleeping for the better part of 18 hours and could use more!

today = running for an hour after work (with some speedwork tucked in the middle...)
& then an hour & a quarter in the pool... for whatever workout the coach decides is good for me tonight....?

A 5 hour flight with a 6th month old who has a cold...  This is likely my hardest workout this week.  I'll take 7-10 mile runs and 60-90 min trainer rides any day.

I finally feel fully recovered from the strep nonsense. A lymph node on the left side of my neck was never going to relax.

1800m in the pool today. Amazing! (For me.)
