Camping out for IMLP (Page 4)

While it looks like there is a party at KOA I'd like to add to the thread -

You can also camp at Cascade Acres. It's along the bike/run course and within 'walking' distance of downtown. It's not super close, but I think its the absolute closest of all the camping facilities.

Technically its an RV park that will rent you a spot for your tent. I thought it was a good deal but you'll hit and miss with the noise from RV life etc. One of the best things was that the RV people were awesome - they were interested in learning about the event and if you needed something they were more than helpful.

When the shuttle is running there is a stop right at the park so outside of race day you could make it into town without driving (very short trip).

Just thought I would add this since KOA is a bit away from 'walking distance' to downtown in my opinion. So maybe this will help someone looking for alternatives. The party looks like it could be a blast though - you guys make me want to come down to volunteer now!
