Good morning! I'm in for a long day...I keep thinking today is Friday!

4:15am:  65 mins/19 miles on the KK
30 mins Upper body strength/core

Scheduled 5 mile run at lunch today, got in 45 minutes on the trainer last night and managed 19MPH avg that's a high for me on the bike so far and my cadence was spot on 90rpm avg so I was happy about that.

Happy Groundhog Day, hope the furry bugger predicted good weather for you all.

1/2 hour swim lesson - learned to dive today. WHEE!

1/2 hour swim practice after the lesson, doing 25 yd sprints for the first time. Wow, swimming fast is fun!

6am knocked out 1400yds in the pool, was my fastest swim yet, 1:42 100 splits.

45 minutes on the trainer after work on tap.

My one hour workout turned into a two hour and twenty minute workout.   Got on the trainer and started.   I guess with the good music and my thoughts on the back burner of my mind I got into a zone.  Didn't notice time going by until 55 minutes into spinning.  Thought I might as well go for 25 miles and made it in 78 minutes.    Got off the trainer and onto the treadmill.  Still felt good and in the zone so again with good music and my thought train on something else I knocked out 6.2 miles in just over a nine minute/mile pace. I'm still not fast on the run.  Oo la.

I guess I have done most of my Olympic simulation today.   Will swim tonight to complete the trilogy.  Will decide in a week or two if I want to start with an Olympic this May or go ahead and plan for a 70.3.

 

This workout felt great.   Time to plan lunch.     Methinks I should have a good appetite. Cool

lol I keep thinking one day I'll knock out a workout before ingleshteechur, too. But...that might only happen if I work out at 3 AM and then go to bed. Morning people baffle me. And sunrises are overrated.

8.25 intermediate run this morning.  Happy to take :30 off of my pace.  Training for marathon in May.  3:30 0r Bust.
