Subject: carbon fiber bike repair

Obviously, this is a 'use at your own risk' deal...but did you know that if you crack your carbon fiber frame, you can fix it?  They do it for airplane parts all the time.

There is a company out there called Calfee that will repair your bike for you too that does good work.

We are lucky in Vancouver as we have someone who makes carbon sailboards. He's a cyclist as are his kids and he fixes all of the cycling communities broken bikes.

Luckily I've never had to use his services, but my SO and many of my friends have. He can do many different types of fixes. Some you could never tell (costly) vs. patchy (cheaper).
