nothing routine about it.
Event warmup:

rode to rec center with kids in the trailer. swam in the leisure pool. ran around a bit.

I was feeling a little sore and didn't risk injury for a training race. however, even if i had pushed my hardest I was way out of my league riding in the fastest heat. i was placed there b/c of swim/run times. too bad i bike like a turtle. we were standing still literally on fit cycles but had we been on real bikes it still would have looked like i was standing still.

not pull my kids around town the day before

i did not break any records but i ran strong with almost no foot pain so i would call this an excellent run

What limited your ability to perform faster:

i am turning my focus to running for '12 and have not been training for swim/bike

Event comments:

results haven't been posted on the web yet but i do know i got spanked. i really enjoy this event. 3rd year in a row i have ridden the bike down with my daughter(s) -we use the leisure pool -and it is just a positive environment.
