Pre-race routine:

Got up around 4:15am, got dressed and ate a PB eng muffin and water. Left for the race at 5:15am
Event warmup:

Ran about 1m from parking garage to race start, stretched, used pottie and made it to the corral about 2 minutes before the start. Was grouped in the first corral.

Comments:

Freezing!!! The temp was 38 degrees but with the wind chill it was in the upper 20's during the race. We have not had a very cold winter and that was very unexpected!!! The mile markers were all over the place, especially mile 2/3 and 10/11.
What would you do differently?:

Try to stay with a pack of runners to help with the wind.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked to the bag pick up to get our stuff. Walked about 1m back to the parking garage in the freezing wind!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The wind.

Event comments:

They need to work on the mile markers. That was my only issue with this inaugural race.
