Oliver was my first HIM distance race...
The previous few posts pretty much sum up why it's a great first HIM..  love the "user friendly" statement.. That's a nice way to say.. a lot less hilly than Desert... LOL!

The fact that Peby lives there is definitely the #1 selling point for most of us on BT.. especially once you've actually met in person..

Desert is also a great race.. particularly if you're considering working toward IMC in future years! It's a great chance to get out and ride "Richter & the 7 Rollers" (from both directions)... w/o first having to cycle from Penticton!!

See everyone in the Interior in a few months... am registered for Oliver already.. then it will be Desert.. and thennnnnn IMC 2012...
