Overcast
Total Time = 44m 5s
Overall Rank = 314/9287
Age Group = M41-46
Age Group Rank = 43/782
Pre-race routine:

We took shuttle bus to race staging area and then had to wait 1 hour for corrals to open. Then the corrals opened 1 hour prior to race start and the corral system was not watched well and it was just a push to get to close to start.
Event warmup:

The duathlon earlier that morning.

Comments:

I had no idea what my legs had in them because of racing a duathlon earlier in the day. I kept a comfortable pace on this course for me and my splits per KM were very consistent: 4.23; 4.20; 4.22; 4.29; 4.26; 4.26; 4.31; 4.26; 4.33 & 4.08. I was able to pick up the pace the last 1 km.

This was a new PR for me.
What would you do differently?:

No duathlon on the morning of the race.
Post race
Warm down:

Had some gatorade and met my wife to get to shuttle bus pack to hotel.
