Run: 11h 11m 45s  - 75.64 Mi, increase from Jan (53.76)

Swim: 17h 15m  - 44200 Yd, decrease from Jan (59300) but Jan was very swim focused

Texas 70.3 one month from today and IMTX on May 19th. Happy with my training, haven't missed a schedule workout yet!!!!

A good month for running (first 100 mi month) and hiking with the family, but pathetic when it came to swimming.  The 1600 yds were done on the 28th, so almost an entire month of no swimming.

Better get my butt in gear for Oceanside!

Missed the 100 mile run mark due to taking two days off with some achilles issues.  Got back in the pool for the first time since November and doing some strength training in preparation for a Warrior Dash in May.  I also lost 9 pounds this month and am already below my lowest weight for last year.

Not a bad month for me, especially considering I spent 9 days in Hawaii, and only ran twice over the period.  Prior to the trip I was making huge progress with my run and progressing nicely on the bike, after I got back feel like I'm starting at square one running but the bike still feels strong.

Goose egg on the Swimming... need to get back in the pool.

Run derailed half way through month by ankle injury....Even had to miss two swim workouts at end of month because I couldn't push off the wall....still a great month! Racing starts this weekend! Although, I won't be doing the run portion. Oceanside is most likely next full race.

First week of February I ended a winter maintenance plan.  Last week of February I started a sprint to oly bridge plan.  In between, just some maintenance training and doing what I wanted.  Not bad for me.  Ramping up for a May OLY.

S-29.5K =about 12 hrs(multiple PR's at almost every distance 50-500M)

B-12 hrs (~17mi/hr)

R-94 miles=about 12 hrs

total=36hrs S/B/R

+Strength-4 hrs

 

the slow ramp continues as training progresses

IMLP-virgin 'triathlete' in training (initial 1/2 IM in Poconos was only 2/3 of a tri)
