Really fun race out there! Was great getting to meet some of you! Those hills were killer since I live in pancake land, but still an awesome race. I won my age group (W 25-29) so that was a bonus!

Bummed we didnt get to meet you Sarah. You did well! Nice job.

As usual the BT peeps are always the coolest cats around. Had a great time hanging and racing with y'all. Nice to meet you Jillian.

FattyFatFat is looking rather trim if you haven't noticed. Think Doug has a shot of my special race marking to celebrate the tri season.

My 12 year old high fiving me on the run had to be one of my all time parental highlights.

I'm sorry I missed you guys. I think one of the things most amazing to me was that my run was only 8 seconds slower than my 5K PR (which indicates to me that I probably could get out there and improve my stand-alone 5K time). I was also surprised that I actually ranked slightly higher among women for the run than for the swim - I am guessing this is because of the numbers of collegiate athletes, are they disproportionately good swimmers? Going in I assumed that I'd be near FOP for swim, back of MOP for run, and BOP for bike. Instead I was top 39-41% for swim and run, and BOP for bike (but not as far back as I thought). (This is all within the women's field, not overall - shift me way farther back if you add the men in.)

Also, as positive notes on the bike, I actually passed a few people near the beginning (!!!) and got a compliment from one of the volunteers on my (shocking pink) shoes. And I only fell down once.
