Comments: Easy to start fast, since it's all downhill. Was a lot of fun. Legs got tired around mile 9, from there, was just a mental thing to keep going. Tried to push as much as I could the last mile. Was all I could do to breathe at the end. What would you do differently?: Better, more consistent training. Post race
Warm down: Wandered around, ate and drank, and picked up all kinds of cool stuff! What limited your ability to perform faster: Poor training Last updated: 2012-02-06 12:00 AM

Got up super early (3am-ish). Ate oatmeal, got our stuff together, and drove over to Mesa. Parked at Boeing, and got on the bus to the start area.
Huddled around the fire trying to stay warm. Very cold and windy!
