Subject: Annual Pi Day

March 14 is Pi Day!  What have we all got planned?  It's the best holiday of the year folks. It is the annual occasion for pie, irrational thought, and circumferential arguments.

I'll be up early for this one.

Shoot, I thought you had spelled Pie wrong in the title.    I'll just eat some of this...

It won't officially be Pi day until March 14, 2015.  Then Pi minute at 9:26 a.m. (and 30 Pi seconds).

That was supposed to be a joke.  But on second glance it doesn't appear as funny as I thought it was.  Oh well.

Somehow one has to overlook the 20 in 2015 for it to work.  And you could go for 26.5 Pi seconds  Oops.  I get it 3/14/15 9:26.5.

Sadly, I missed telling everyone I know about the most commanding day of the year, March 4th. Look forward to that one every year!

I'm going to celebrate by running the Pi mile.

Yeah, every year, but not always at Tech. I'm getting faster, though.

Mmmmm ... pi ...

I had better get my chef piglet to make me some pie! (Yes I have a chef piglet ... and a swim piglet ... and a deep talks piglet ... etc.) I may be a horrible nerd, but I do love my piglets!

I confess, I didn't have pi stored away in my brain to this many digits . But I 'snerked' out loud when I read this.

Well shut my pie hole and open my pi hole! PI DAY! I'm going to tell everyone here at the office. I might even bring in balloons just as a conversation starter!

3/14 is my youngest daughter's birthday -- she is 9 today. She has referred to her b-day as "pi day" for the past 3 years, and can even explain what "pi" is. Yes, she loves math .

haha nerd five... love it!  My wife likes to think of me as Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.  I take that as a compliment.  But alas I'm just a lowly engineer like Wallowitz.

Scientist here, not an engineer, but I can still appreciate a good equation
