Subject: Open water swimming Oahu.

Just what you wanted to hear another Canadian visiting your great state!! Anyway I will be  in Oahu for the month of May and would like to brush up on my open water skills and was wondering if there was any groups that swim and would not mind me tagging along.

Part II / I am also wondering if anyone knows of a good Judo Dojo where one can practice. Up coming Kata! Thx Bruce

there's lots of groups that swim out in the ocean various parts of the island. honolulu, north shore, and east shore. you can also go by yourself to Ala Moana beach park and swim there, they have lifeguards.

not sure where you will be staying.  you can drop in to Kailua Masters, they do a open ocean swim on saturdays.
