North Florida Race Schedule

Hello Florida forums!

I'm moving to Gainesville in June from Houston Tx and was curious as to what the popular races are in the North Florida area as well as any Tri groups that do workouts and weekend rides.  I was looking at trifind.com for the Florida area and the races are really spread across the state.  In the Houston area you could almost do a race every other weekend starting in May through October and only have to drive an hour at the most.

I'm guessing from Gainesville, the close popular cities are Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa/Sarasota?  Are there some other cities I could be on the lookout for that I could possibly drive to the morning of the race?  I really enjoy the sprint and oly distance races but would entertain doing another Half Iron race if there is one that people thought was a really nice course.
