Pre-race routine:

Up by 6:15, with oatmeal for breakfast and out the door by 10 mins to 7. HFFA is 10 mins from the house so I was in the transition area by 7:05. Got my race chip and then my body markings - they made me weigh myself to prove I was a clyde - I guess that is a compliment?

Ran walked about .6 of mile and then swam some 200 yds for a warmup. Felt good

This is where I one my age group fasted bike split by over 90 seconds; one guy passed my on a nice Trek Concept then he had bike trouble - passed a bunch of folks including the guy I beat by 10 seconds (I passed him, he passed me and I got him right at the end).
