For those that perhaps don't see the race reports, take a look at BT-er herdaughter's results in the Publix Family Fitness Ocean Mile Swim.  I challenge anyone out there to do a mile in 18:46.  Well she did, and she ended up winning first overall in the women's division.  Plus she's only a teenager so she's going to get even faster.  Congrats to herdaughter...this sport is all about the getting the kids into it and results like this are just fantastic!

WAY TO GO!!!!!

That's an amazing time!  I would love to take that challenge, but I am far from being able to swim that fast.

Max,

There are tears rolling down my cheeks as I type this. When I saw the thread title I thought "Wow, how cool is that! I wonder who it was?". When I opened the thread and saw that it was about my daughter, the tears just started to flow. You have been such a great support to everyone on this forum and particularly to the kids. I want to thank you so much
for that. I can't tell you how much it truly means to us. When Marisa first started in triathlons, the support she found on this forum bolstered her tremendously. We really didn't know anybody in the triathlon community and this forum was it for us. Now that she is in her third season, she has met many tri friends, young and old. But we will never forget our first tri friends here at BT and the tremendous support we receive here. Thank you again. You are forever in our hearts!

Thanks you guys, especially Max.  It was a really great day to swim, the water was flat, clear and not to hot.  It was a fun race.
