Subject: PTC Super Sprint

Has anyone done the Super Sprint in Peachtree City in May? Is it a good race for a beginner?

I have my first race this Saturday so that one would be just the second have I've done.

I have never done any of the PTC races, but I have heard nothing but great things about the races. Apparently they are super fast courses, so I would say perfect for a beginner.

I have done this race...it is a great first race! I would say the majority of participants are first timers. Would definitely recommend it.

You will not need a wet suite...the water is fine by end of May.  Remember, you never HAVE to wear a wet suite!  whole different thread...

some races where the water is pretty cold require a wetsuit. Alcatraz comes to mind.

I've heard nothing but good things about that race. I've also heard it is very fast and perfect for a first/beginner.
